First Bikers Show in Corsica

The first edition of the Bikers Show will take place on Saturday, October 24, starting at 6 p.m., on the place de Baleone in Sarrola-Carcopino. This event marks a new initiative aimed at showcasing motorcycle culture in the region.

Organizers and Their Vision

The event is organized by the Corsican Bobbers Crew, a motorbike association based in the Borgo region of Haute-Corse, in partnership with 2Art Tattoo. The initiative aims to introduce the biker world to a wider audience, bring together two-wheeled enthusiasts, and share a moment of conviviality.

Community and Participation

Charly Grutsch, a member of the Corsican Bobbers Crew and one of the representatives of the association in the Ajaccio region, explains that the goal is to create a festival in the South of Corsica around motorcycles. While the group is mainly composed of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, they are interested in all types of motorcycles.

Event Activities and Attractions

For this first edition, the organizers have planned an evening accessible to all, featuring an exhibition of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including customized models that the public may not have encountered on the island's roads. Visitors will be able to approach these machines, meet their owners, and exchange with members of the various clubs present.

Community Values and Growth

Charly Grutsch notes that the organizers want to highlight the values that drive their community: the passion for motorcycles, solidarity, respect, and the pleasure of getting together. He also observes that there has been growing interest in motorcycle culture in Corsica in recent years, with several motorcycle associations being created.

Future Plans and Expectations

The organizers hope to bring together between 200 and 300 people for this first edition. If successful, they plan to make the event much bigger next year, inviting other motorcycle brands to exhibit as well. In the long term, the association envisions evolving the format into a true motorcycle festival, organized over an entire weekend.
