New Xiaomi Devices Released

Xiaomi recently introduced three new affordable connected devices: two smartwatches, the Redmi Watch 6 Lite and Redmi Watch 6 Active, and the Smart Band 11 Active.

Smart Band 11 Active Features

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active has drawn attention for its 21-day battery life and health-focused features, along with a reduced price. It was originally priced at 39.99 euros but is now available on Amazon for 29.99 euros with a coupon valid until October 31, 2026.

Design and Durability

The Smart Band 11 Active weighs 18 g (without the band) and has a thickness of 10.2 mm. It features a metallic finish and rounded lines, making it more elegant than some of Xiaomi's previous models. It is 5 ATM certified, allowing it to resist a pressure equivalent to that exerted at a depth of 50 meters, suitable for swimming but not for diving, hot showers, or saunas.

Display and Customization

The device includes a rectangular TFT screen measuring 1.47 inches, covered with 2.5D curved protective glass and displaying a resolution of 172 x 320 pixels (or 247 PPI) with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi offers more than 100 watch faces for the device.

Compatibility and Sensors

The Smart Band 11 Active is compatible with both Android smartphones and iPhones, requiring the Mi Fitness app to be installed. It includes a PPG heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, and an ERM motor, enabling continuous monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), sleep, and stress. It also offers menstrual cycle tracking.

Training Modes and Synchronization

The device supports 50 training modes and synchronization with Strava and Apple Health via the Mi Fitness app. Xiaomi claims up to 8 days of use in "normal" conditions and up to 21 days with moderate use. Charging is done via a magnetic cable provided, requiring 3 hours for a full charge.
