TikTok has rolled out several new features designed to enhance how users interact with the app. One of these is the ability to leave voice comments on videos. These comments can last up to 60 seconds and are played by tapping on them. The feature is being introduced gradually over the next month and will initially be available to users aged 18 and older. This addition aims to make commenting more expressive and engaging, especially for users who prefer voice over text. Another update allows content creators to add comment polls to their posts. These polls can include up to five options, and creators can view the results directly in the comment section. This feature is already available to users worldwide and provides a more interactive way for audiences to engage with content. TikTok has previously tested similar interactive features through stickers and during live streams, but this rollout appears more integrated compared to other social media platforms. TikTok has also introduced the ability for users to upload "live photos" in comments. These are photos that include a short clip of motion and sound captured just before and after the photo is taken. This feature is already available and adds a dynamic element to visual comments. Additionally, users can now post up to nine images in a single comment using a carousel format. This update is expected to be rolled out over the next month, making it easier for users to share multiple images at once. These updates are part of TikTok’s ongoing efforts to improve user experience and keep the platform competitive. Recently, the app also introduced features that allow users to book travel services directly from the app and access a local feed based on their location. With these new tools, TikTok continues to evolve as a multifunctional social media platform that caters to both casual users and content creators.
