Télérama launches youth film vote
Télérama, a French entertainment magazine, has started a voting initiative allowing young cinephiles under 26 to select their favorite films of 2026. The vote is open until November 11 and lets participants choose up to three films from a list of eighty that were released in theaters through November 4.Voted films will be festival highlights
The film that receives the most votes will be featured in the programming of the 29th Télérama Cinema Festival. The festival is being held in partnership with the French Association of Art and Essay Cinemas (AFCAE) and will take place from January 20 to 26, 2027, in 500 theaters across France.Participants get a chance to win cinema tickets
In addition to the voting, Télérama is conducting a draw among participants, with one lucky winner receiving a year of cinema tickets. This adds an extra incentive for young film enthusiasts to take part in the initiative.Télérama shares film content regularly
The voting initiative also includes regular updates on Télérama’s Letterboxd account. These updates feature ratings, reviews, and excerpts from recommendation lists or interviews related to films released in theaters and on streaming platforms.
