Anker, a leading consumer electronics company, has unveiled its new AI chip, named Thus, in its latest line of audio products. The chip is featured in the Soundcore Space 2 Pro over-ear headphones, which were showcased at IFA 2026, a major international trade show for consumer electronics. The Thus AI chip enables advanced features such as adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), real-time voice separation during calls, and enhanced sound quality. The Space 2 Pro headphones are set to launch on September 22 for $200 and offer up to 30 hours of battery life with ANC enabled, or 60 hours without it. In addition to the Space 2 Pro, Anker is launching the Soundcore Liberty Buds 2 earbuds on the same date for $130. These earbuds also use the Thus chip to improve ANC and call clarity. They feature a custom 9.2mm wool paper diaphragm, which helps deliver more detailed and rich sound. The company also introduced new versions of its clip-on earbuds, the Soundcore AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro. The base model offers eight hours of battery life and will retail for $170, while the Pro model includes AI-powered transcription capabilities, allowing users to capture and summarize audio from meetings or calls. The Pro model is priced at $230, though a release date has not been announced. Anker is also expanding into the hearing aid and sleep aid markets with the Sleep Earbuds 4 and Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro. These devices can block noise and mask snoring, while also monitoring sleep stages and heart rate to assess the quality of rest. They can dynamically adjust white noise to help users fall and stay asleep. The base model will be available in October, with the Pro version launching in November. Prices for these products have not been disclosed yet. The Thus AI chip is also central to Anker's hearing aids, the Anker RIC Hearing Aids, which use four microphones to isolate speech and reduce background noise. These aids are designed for all-day use, with a fast-charging feature that provides two hours of additional battery life from just five minutes of charging. When fully charged using the case, they can last up to 36 hours. This combination of AI-powered features and long battery life positions Anker as a growing player in the evolving landscape of smart audio and assistive listening technologies.
