Her passion for theater began in childhood when her teacher, Mr. Albucher, allowed her to present performances weekly. He later encouraged her mother to enroll her in a theater class.Pereur's emotional experience in La Mouette
Mr. Albucher attended one of her performances of La Mouette at the Odéon, which Pereur described as "too emotional for me." This experience left a lasting impression on her.Pereur's educational background
After theater classes in Suresnes, classical dance training, a theater option in high school, and a degree in Letters and Arts in Cergy, Pereur attended the CEPIT class of Coco Felgeirolles at the Conservatory.Influences from her training
She then entered the ERACM in 2016, where she encountered the aesthetics of Catherine Baugué, Éric Louis, Nadia Vonderheyden, and the legacies of Didier-Georges Gabily, Annie Mercier, and Claude Duparfait.Participation in the Avignon Festival
With Gurshad Shaheman, she participated in the creation of Il pourra toujours dire que c'est pour l'amour du prophète at the Avignon Festival in 2018.Career at the National Theater of Nice
After leaving school, Pereur joined the permanent company of the National Theater of Nice (TNN) under the direction of Muriel Mayette-Holtz. Her contract was extended for four and a half years.Formative experience at the National Theater of Nice
This period was formative, allowing her to work with an intergenerational company and culminating in her performance of Phèdre in 2024 for the first festival of Tragedies in Nice.Creation of her own company
Following this, she left the National Theater of Nice to create her own company, LES SAUCES, emphasizing the idea of the sauce as a binder of a dish and aiming to work on intergenerational links between populations that typically do not interact.Current projects and themes
Currently, Pereur's activities include performing Antigone in Toulouse and directing Orgueilleuse at the National Theater of Nice at the end of November. The play explores the intertwined fates of three women and friends.Inspiration from her grandmother
Pereur conducted extensive interviews with her grandmother and neighbors to build the show. She noticed a kind of freedom in the way her grandmother told her story, which she wished to transpose on stage.Themes of freedom and attachment
Through this rural immersion, she questions notions of freedom, attachment to the countryside, and territorial fractures, presenting a first intimate and political show that confirms the emergence of a director attentive to the voices of reality.
