Billy Baldwin has said he will "never work with again" actress Sharon Stone, citing a past disagreement that occurred years ago on set. During a recent appearance on Lisa Guerrero’s podcast, Baldwin discussed the tension between him and Stone, which he claims left "everybody miserable." He described their initial relationship as amicable, with them getting along well for the first few weeks of filming. However, he said things changed when Stone allegedly stopped speaking to him altogether for three months, refusing even basic greetings. Baldwin recounted that model and photographer Janice Dickinson once told him Stone had said, "I'm going to make him fall so hard for me it's going to make his f***ing head spin." Dickinson has since denied this claim. Baldwin suggested that Stone may have been upset when he did not develop feelings for her, especially since he had been in a relationship with singer Chynna Phillips of Wilson Phillips for 18 months at the time. Baldwin and Phillips married in 1995 and have remained together for over three decades. Baldwin explained that he refused to kiss Stone during the film’s love scenes, even after initially agreeing to film them. He told producers he could perform the scenes but asked not to be required to kiss her, saying, "I can't kiss her." He also addressed Stone’s past claim that producer Robert Evans told her to sleep with Baldwin to "save the movie." In 2024, Stone stated that Evans had suggested sleeping with Baldwin would create on-screen chemistry. Baldwin responded on social media at the time, questioning why Stone continued to talk about him years later, suggesting she might still have a crush or be hurt by his rejection. In his recent podcast appearance, Baldwin said that Evans had told him the same thing, urging him to "unleash the horses" and let the on-screen chemistry happen. Despite his past conflicts with Stone, Baldwin expressed a desire to move past their differences, saying he would love to "bury the hatchet" and reconnect with her, even offering a handshake and a hug.
