New travel brand in development

Rémi Roussel and Lisa Sananikone, travel advisors at Voyages Couture, are planning to launch a new travel brand called Entre deux îles by January 2027. The brand will focus on B2C travel and will highlight two destinations: Nosy Be, a French island off the northwest coast of Madagascar, and Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian Ocean.

Inspiration from a client request

The idea for Entre deux îles came from a client who wanted a beach destination for his first long-haul trip with his wife. Rémi Roussel and Lisa Sananikone competed to present the strengths of each island and eventually proposed two quotes. They found that the destinations had both similarities and differences that could be effectively highlighted.

Customized travel experiences

The brand will offer customized stays on both islands, with programs still being developed. These experiences will be based on the advisors' personal recommendations and favorite accommodations, including hotels, catamaran cruises, and unique stays. Group trips might be considered for specific requests, but they are not the main focus of the brand.

Integration with Voyages Couture

Entre deux îles is being developed as a complementary brand to Voyages Couture, with the two activities remaining distinct. The new brand will be integrated into Voyages Couture, which is run by Barbara Roussel, Rémi Roussel’s mother. Sales will go through the agency, and customer guarantees will be those of Voyages Couture.

Promotion strategy and website development

To promote Entre deux îles, Rémi Roussel and Lisa Sananikone are working on a website, focusing on SEO initially. Social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram will be used later. The website is expected to launch by January 2027 with the first programs and blog articles, and it will be regularly updated.

Focus on specialization and future extensions

The advisors emphasize a very specialized positioning, focusing on Nosy Be and Mauritius without expanding to other destinations like Zanzibar. Possible future extensions include adding Rodrigues to Mauritius Otherwise or combining Nosy Be with the north of Madagascar. They have no plans to develop a B2B activity at this stage.

Professional recognition and future scouting trips

Rémi Roussel recently gained visibility in the travel industry, winning second place in the Travel Agents Cup 2026. This recognition helps legitimize the launch of Entre deux îles. The advisors also plan new scouting trips to deepen their knowledge of the destinations, with Rémi traveling to Nosy Be and Madagascar between mid-November and mid-December, and a trip to Mauritius planned.
