Olivier de Nicola takes leadership role

Olivier de Nicola, 61, has become the leader of Greens du Monde since its acquisition in 2024. Previously, he worked as an executive at Thomas Cook France and FRAM, and now he is steering the company toward a new direction, focusing on customized golf travel.

Greens du Monde's current status

Greens du Monde was founded in 1993 by Daniel Remiot and currently employs around a dozen people. The company's annual revenue is approximately 6.5 million euros, and it primarily serves French and francophone clients who want personalized travel experiences, including golf-focused stays organized by professionals.

Focus on accommodation in golf travel

De Nicola entered the golf travel market in 2019 by acquiring Plein Swing Voyages, a company based in Nice. He discovered that clients often prioritize accommodation over golf course selection, with destination and lodging being the main factors in their decision-making process.

New travel concept launched

In 2024, de Nicola introduced a new travel concept called Les Voyages d'Olivier, which targets small groups of golfers seeking unique destinations. The first trip is scheduled for March 2027 in Argentina, with de Nicola personally joining a group of 16 golfers. Future plans include annual trips to both far and medium-distance locations.

Expansion and company growth

De Nicola plans to maintain the Greens du Monde brand while expanding its range of travel experiences. His continued work in entrepreneurship is driven by the fulfillment of creating meaningful activities and the success of his group, which now employs more than 45 people and generates nearly 25 million euros in combined revenue annually. The company offers a variety of travel options, including golf, events, and personal trips, catering to different passions and life experiences.
