Rare Daft Punk photos to be displayed

A collection of about sixty rare photographs, some of which have never been exhibited before, will be shown in an upcoming exhibition for fans of the electronic music duo Daft Punk. The photographs are signed by a dozen photographers from around the world.

Exhibition marks a reunion

Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, the members of Daft Punk who separated more than five years ago, have reconciled for an exhibition installed at 58 rue Volta in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. The exhibition is titled "Around the World."

Exhibition highlights their journey

Titled "Around the World," the exhibition revisits the beginnings of the two icons of French electronic music, whose influence continues to radiate far beyond the borders of France. It traces the history of a duo that has become indispensable, as famous for their compositions as for the carefully maintained mystery surrounding their identity.

Exhibition has two parts

The exhibition is divided into two parts: the first delves into the daily lives of the two musicians, who are originally from the capital, while the second follows their travels around the world, as their success grew. From their first hit "Da Funk," released in 1995, to Human After All, an album misunderstood and released in 2005, the photographs tell the story of an extraordinary musical journey.

Preview event announced

The official dates of the exhibition have not yet been announced, but the most impatient visitors will be able to get a first glimpse starting this Friday, October 23, beginning at 6 p.m., on the occasion of a 24-hour temporary event. This event will include a first presentation of the initial prints, with the possibility of purchasing some of them.

Event includes ticket reservations

This event will also be an opportunity to reserve tickets before the official online ticket sales, which are expected to be announced soon.
