Control Resonant, a popular action-adventure game, has received a significant update one week after its release. Version 1.4.0 introduces a new gameplay mode called New Game++ that lets players replay the game endlessly. This mode expands on the existing New Game+ feature, which allowed players to retain some progress between playthroughs. In addition to the new mode, the update includes a variety of improvements and fixes aimed at enhancing the overall experience. Among the changes, players can now see a Power value on their equipment screen, receive notifications about new purchases or upgrades related to the ATH (Assisted Tactical Helper), and check if materials needed for upgrades are available from merchants. The update also makes the Unknown Zone, a challenging area in the game, slightly less intense by reducing the number of fights and their difficulty by 10 to 15 percent. Additional features include a separate volume slider for radio dialogues, allowing players to adjust the balance between speakers or headphones and the DualSense controller's built-in speaker. A new option in the Assistance mode called Energy Core Charge Duration increases the effectiveness of certain abilities by up to 300 percent. Fixes have been made to issues with map markers, visual effects that caused frame rate drops during combat, and a copyrighted music track by Apocalyptica that players can now disable. A tutorial has also been added to clarify that the Rush ability removes status effects from the player. The update includes performance optimizations for lower-end and recommended PC configurations, as well as refinements to audio, dialogue synchronization, subtitles, animations, lighting, code, mission completion, and the user interface. Support for Razer haptic feedback devices has been added, allowing players to feel gameplay events through compatible Razer products. Numerous other fixes have been implemented to improve the game's stability and overall quality. This update marks a major step in refining Control Resonant for its players.
