In another match, Nantes suffered their first loss of the season in a surprising defeat against Fenix. Nantes struggled with fluidity and made several errors, while Toulouse played well and remained competitive, with the score tied at 10-10 by the 24' mark. Danijel Andjelkovic was instrumental, using defensive systems and varied attacks to challenge Nantes throughout the game. The second half saw both teams play at a faster pace, with Fenix's aggressive style outpacing Nantes, who continued to struggle with fluidity. Toulouse took a four-goal lead at one point, but Nantes fought back to equalize at 27-27 by the 56' mark. A crucial moment came when Uros Kojadinovic was sent off for a face hit, which led to the exclusion of Andrea Guillaume from Nantes. Despite this, the match remained close, with both teams trading points in a highly competitive finish. In the final moments, Fenix was playing a man down due to the 2-minute suspension of Hugo Jund. Andrea Guillaume, who had been brought on from the bench after his earlier exclusion, scored the decisive goal for Toulouse, securing a 29-30 victory. This marked a significant achievement for Toulouse, as it had been four years since they had lost at their home venue in the championship.
