Oceania Cruises has announced the itineraries for its newest ship, the Oceania Allura, which will explore a range of Mediterranean destinations in the coming years. The 2027 and 2028 schedules include the company’s first full winter season in the Mediterranean, offering cruises that will take passengers from major cities like Barcelona, Rome, Athens, and Istanbul to more secluded ports such as Gythion in Greece, Skiathos in Greece, Kotor in Montenegro, Tarente in Italy, and Çanakkale in Turkey. These trips will run from November 2027 to March 2028, with durations ranging from 9 to 26 days. The itineraries are designed to balance popular attractions with less-visited locations, providing travelers with both well-known sights and unique experiences. One of the highlighted itineraries, Atlantic Wine Trails, will sail from Lisbon to London in 10 days aboard the Oceania Insignia. This trip will include stops in Porto, Bilbao, Biarritz, and a night in Bordeaux, offering passengers the chance to explore the wine regions of Portugal, Spain, and France. Another unique cruise, Croissants & Cannoli, will connect Barcelona and Rome over 10 days, with stops at Sète and Marseille in France, Monte-Carlo in Monaco, Florence in Italy, and ports in Corsica and Sardinia. This journey highlights the culinary and cultural links between these regions. A winter-focused itinerary, Warm Winter Wonderland, will take passengers from Athens to Barcelona in December 2027 aboard the Oceania Allura. This trip will include stops at Limassol and Rhodes in Cyprus and Greece, as well as Malta, Trapani in Italy, Cagliari in Sardinia, and Palma de Majorque in Spain. The cruise aims to provide a warm alternative to colder winter destinations, with a focus on Mediterranean sunshine and coastal beauty. Oceania Cruises also emphasizes its culinary experiences, offering Culinary Discovery Tours that take passengers to local markets and producers. These tours allow travelers to engage with regional food traditions and sample fresh, locally sourced ingredients, enhancing the overall cruise experience with gastronomic highlights.
