Cruise itinerary highlights Northern Lights

The C|Club Cruise 2026 took place from October 5 to October 19 in Northern Europe, departing from Hamburg aboard the Costa Favolosa. The cruise followed an itinerary named "In Pursuit of the Northern Lights," making stops at Bergen, Narvik, and Kristiansand, with overnight stays in Trondheim and Hammerfest, one of the northernmost cities in the world.

According to Costa Cruises, passengers had the opportunity to admire the northern lights for five consecutive nights. This phenomenon, caused by charged particles from the sun interacting with Earth's magnetic field, is visible in the polar regions during the autumn and winter months.

Culinary experiences on board

On board, three Michelin-starred chefs—Hélène Darroze, Bruno Barbieri, and Ángel León—offered exclusive meetings and created "Destination Dishes," culinary creations inspired by the itinerary's stops. These dishes aimed to reflect the local flavors and ingredients of the regions visited during the cruise.

Entertainment and themed events

The program also included themed evenings and activities such as the Sparkling Glam Party, an elegant Gala Night, the Black & Gold Party, and the Winter Party. These events provided passengers with a variety of social and entertainment opportunities throughout the cruise.

Cultural and natural excursions

The experience included excursions into the fjords and Nordic villages, allowing passengers to relax during floating and sauna sessions facing the fjords of Trondheim and participate in a tasting of local specialties. Passengers also had the opportunity to discover traditional craftsmanship on the island of Kvaløya, participate in excursions to observe the northern lights, and meet the Sámi culture in Kvernmo.

Cruise plans for 2027

The C|Club Cruise 2027 will take place from October 1 to October 15, again aboard the Costa Favolosa, and will lead passengers to discover the most beautiful islands of the Western Mediterranean. The itinerary includes stops such as the Faraglioni in the bay of Capri, the Gulf of Aranci, and the darkest point of the Balearic Sea.
