The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro is currently available at a reduced price of 183.88 euros on AliExpress, using the discount code FWFR20. This is a significant drop from its original listed price of 272.42 euros. The tablet features a large 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a high maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, which makes for smooth scrolling and video playback. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, ensuring decent performance for everyday tasks. The device also includes a 12,000 mAh battery that supports wired charging up to 33 watts and reverse charging up to 27 watts. Four speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos and a Dolby Vision screen are included for enhanced audio and visual experiences. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless connectivity and includes a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 2 TB. Positioned as a device for multimedia consumption, streaming, and light work, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro is described as a large-format slate that sits between a family-oriented tablet and a more premium device. It weighs 610 grams, which makes it more practical for use on a table or lap rather than for extended single-handed use. This weight and size make it ideal for users who prioritize screen size and battery life over portability. At under 200 euros, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro offers a compelling combination of a 2.5K-resolution 120 Hz screen, a large battery, and a mid-range processor. However, the screen is LCD-based, which typically offers less contrast and brightness compared to OLED screens, especially in outdoor settings. The tablet also uses a USB 2.0 port, which is slower than newer USB versions, and does not include a wall charger, which users will need to purchase separately. These are important considerations for users looking for a more premium experience with advanced features. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is particularly well-suited for students, families, and users who need a large Android tablet for activities like watching videos, reading, and browsing the internet. It is less ideal for those who prefer compact devices for one-handed use, require an extremely bright OLED screen, or need fast connectivity for transferring large files. The discounted price of 183.88 euros is available only with the code FWFR20, so users are encouraged to verify the discount in their shopping cart before completing their purchase.
