Lunel launches neighborhood campaign

The city of Lunel is launching a new initiative called "Adooore ta ville" as part of its local brand "Lunel J'adooore," following community meetings aimed at involving residents in improving their neighborhoods.

Campaign addresses local cleanliness issues

The campaign, presented by Paulette Gougeon to the press on October 16, focuses on tackling issues like illegal dumps, abandoned cigarette butts, and dog feces, emphasizing that these problems require collective responsibility from all residents.

First mobilization set for October 28

A first citizen mobilization event will take place on October 28 in the area of the street of the Arts and Alphonse Ménard, chosen based on cleanliness indicators. The event aims to be a "cleanliness shock" involving residents, city services, and partners.

Event includes cleaning and information sessions

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., city officials, technical staff, and partners such as Lunel Agglo and SMN will participate in cleaning, weeding, and waste collection. The event will also provide information on urban cleanliness and solutions to prevent illegal dumping.

Future events and community involvement

This initiative will be repeated every quarter in different areas of the city. Residents are encouraged to participate based on their availability and to exchange ideas with city teams on cleanliness practices and daily good habits.

Report issues through mobile app

Residents can report cleanliness issues using the free mobile app Lunel en poche through the "Allô Mme le Maire" service, allowing them to report illegal dumps or problems on public roads.
