Dubai adds high-performance Lamborghini to police fleet

Dubai has introduced a 920-horsepower hybrid Lamborghini Temerario into its police fleet, which already includes several high-end vehicles. The car is painted in the traditional white and green colors of the Dubai Police and features police lights integrated behind the windshield.

Technical specifications of the Lamborghini Temerario

The Temerario combines a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with three electric motors, offering a hybrid system with full-time all-wheel drive and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The internal combustion engine produces 789 horsepower, while the combined power reaches around 920 horsepower with 730 Nm of torque.

Purpose of Dubai's luxury patrol fleet

Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, director of the general criminal investigations department of the Dubai Police, explained that the luxury patrol fleet represents an innovative approach to maintaining order. These vehicles aim to enhance community and tourist engagement while promoting public safety and the image of Dubai.

Other supercars in Dubai's police fleet

The Temerario joins a collection of other supercars in the Dubai Police fleet, including a Bugatti Veyron, a Ferrari FF, a Lamborghini Aventador, and others. These vehicles are mainly used in tourist areas and high-traffic zones to attract attention and raise awareness of police services.

In Italy, the Polizia di Stato has also received a Lamborghini Temerario. It is painted in blue and white with tricolour flags and equipped with a roof light bar. This vehicle is designated for critical services, including the emergency transport of organs and medical supplies.
