Toulouse metro lines A and B run until 3 a.m. on weekends, offering late-night travel with an extra hour from the time change.
Metro ends service at 3 a.m.
Lines A and B of the Toulouse metro will end their service at 3 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, as they do every Saturday evening. This timing coincides with the transition to standard time, which happens at 3 a.m. on the last Sunday of the month in France.Time change affects metro schedules
On the morning of Sunday, October 25, clocks will be set back by one hour, effectively making it 2 a.m. instead of 3 a.m. This means that the last metro departing at 3 a.m. will actually be one hour later in real time, giving passengers an extra hour of sleep before their Sunday morning routine.Extended service since 2014
Lines A and B have operated with this extended nighttime schedule since 2014, when Tisséo became the first French metropolitan area to offer a metro service until 3 a.m. on weekend nights. This schedule applies every Friday and Saturday evening, with the last train departing each terminus at 3 a.m.Frequencies decrease during the night
As the night progresses, the frequency of trains decreases. From 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., a train passes every 4 minutes, then every 7 minutes until 2:15 a.m., and finally every 10 minutes for the last half-hour of service. However, the 3 a.m. time refers only to the departure from the terminus, not the last train through all stations.Last train may arrive later at stations
Depending on the location of the station, passengers may still catch a train after 3 a.m. For example, line A takes about 22 minutes to travel between its two ends, and line B takes just over 26 minutes. This means that a train departing at 3 a.m. from the terminus may still pass through a central station by nearly 3:25 a.m. Checking the Tisséo app for station-specific schedules is recommended for accuracy.Night bus schedules differ from the metro
The night bus lines, which have replaced the old Noctambus, operate on different schedules. They generally run until 1 a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and until 12:30 a.m. the rest of the week. This means that passengers relying on both the metro and a bus should check the Tisséo app for the exact schedule of their chosen routes.Extended weekend hours coming soon
This Saturday evening offers an extra reason to stay out, as the combination of the last metro at 3 a.m. and the time change gives an additional hour of leisure. Starting November 5, the extended 3 a.m. schedule will also apply to Thursday nights, following the All Saints' Day holidays.
