Peugeot has launched new incentives aimed at high-mileage drivers who are considering switching to electric vehicles. These incentives are specifically designed for employees and self-employed individuals in income tax reference deciles 6 to 8, who use their personal vehicles for professional purposes over 12,000 km annually, including commuting. To be eligible, applicants must place their order between September 1 and December 31, 2026, and have the vehicle delivered by July 1, 2027. A "high-mileage driver" bonus certificate is also required to qualify for these offers. The incentives include particularly competitive monthly payments for switching to electric vehicles. Thanks to the new "High Mileage Driver" CEE bonus, which offers 6,000 euros or 8,000 euros, the first month's rent for eligible vehicles is reduced to 0 euros. This bonus can be applied to several models in the Peugeot electric range, making the transition to electric mobility more financially attractive for those with high driving needs. For high-mileage drivers, the economic benefits of electric vehicles extend beyond the initial purchase price and focus on long-term energy costs. Peugeot highlights the example of the Peugeot E-208 electric model with 156 hp, which costs approximately 30 euros in electricity for 1,000 km of travel when charged at home. This cost is significantly lower than the fuel expenses associated with traditional internal combustion engines, especially for those driving large distances regularly. While these specific incentives are aimed at high-mileage drivers, Peugeot’s electric leasing offers are available across its entire electric range and are tailored to all budgets, usages, and mileage levels. These offers include competitive monthly rents without a down payment, based on the amount of the Certinergy (CEE) bonus deducted. The goal is to make electric mobility accessible to a wider audience, regardless of the number of kilometers driven.
