Peugeot boosts e-3008 sales with incentives

Peugeot is offering discounts and government grants to make its electric SUV, the e-3008, more appealing in a competitive market. The vehicle has seen a 72 percent rise in sales from January to September 2026, with 8,681 units registered, but it still faces strong competition from models like the Tesla Model Y, Renault Scénic, and Skoda Elroq.

Financial incentives vary by model and income

The e-3008 with a 73 kWh battery comes with a range of financial benefits. The high-end GT Exclusive version offers up to 4,500 euros in customer benefits, while the entry-level Allure Plus version provides 3,940 euros in discounts and buyback assistance. Additional government grants, known as CEE grants, range from 3,650 to 7,000 euros depending on the buyer’s income and driving habits.

Larger battery version faces supply constraints

The e-3008 with a 97 kWh battery has a longer range of 701 km and more power, but Peugeot is offering fewer promotions due to limited battery supply from its French partner ACC. Despite this, the base price has been reduced by 1,460 euros, and the CEE grant for this version ranges from 4,850 to 9,400 euros, with higher amounts for heavy drivers.

Enhanced features without price increases

Peugeot has upgraded the e-3008’s features without raising its price. The Allure Plus version now includes front parking sensors, connected navigation, a 21-inch panoramic screen, and other convenience features. With discounts and grants, a 73 kWh version of the Allure Plus model can be purchased for as low as 35,050 euros for heavy drivers.
