New Marvel series premieres

Marvel has unveiled VisionQuest, the third and final installment in its trilogy centered on Wanda Maximoff’s family. The series, now available on Disney+, follows Vision, played by Paul Bettany, as he navigates new challenges years after the events of WandaVision.

Viewer reception and early episodes

VisionQuest has already received a rating of 3.5 out of 5 from Allociné viewers. The first two episodes, recently uploaded, have set the stage for a dramatic turn with the disappearance of a long-standing character from the Marvel universe.

Key plot developments

In VisionQuest, Vision attempts to rebuild his life after a major conflict. He is aided by several artificial intelligences, including Friday, Edith, Ultron, and Jarvis. However, his peace is disrupted by Paladin, a bounty hunter who uses Tommy Shepherd, the reincarnation of Tommy Maximoff, to lure Vision into a trap.

Jarvis’s sacrifice and legacy

During the confrontation, Vision is seriously injured and faces the possibility of extinction. To survive, he must delete one of the AI programs in his mind. Jarvis, a character introduced in Iron Man, chooses to sacrifice himself, allowing Vision to continue his mission. Jarvis has been a significant figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2008.

Possibility of Jarvis’s return

Despite his disappearance, Paul Bettany suggested that Jarvis might still return. He noted that Jarvis's DNA is part of Vision, implying there could be a way to bring the character back in the future. The fate of Jarvis remains uncertain as the series continues.

Future episodes and release schedule

New episodes of VisionQuest will be released weekly on Disney+. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next developments in Vision’s story and the potential return of Jarvis.
