Rivals Season 2, Part 2 is set to return on November 11, 2026, streaming on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally. The second half of the season will begin with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly releases of the remaining three episodes. This portion of the season promises high-stakes drama, with events like a glamorous Hunt Ball, a chaotic Bonfire Night, and a very special Christmas episode that will keep fans on their toes. Returning actors include David Tennant, Aiden Turner, and Danny Dyer, who reprise their roles as Tony Baddingham, Declan O'Hara, and Freddie, respectively. New cast members such as Rachael Stirling, Rupert Evans, and Santiago Cabrera join the series. Stirling plays Araminta Pemberton, the vampish younger sister of Lady Monica Baddingham, while Evans portrays David Hawkley, the erudite headmaster of the fictional school. Cabrera steps into the role of Alejandro Mendoza, an Argentinian polo legend who adds a new layer of intrigue to the storyline. The season continues the intense rivalry and personal struggles that defined the first half, with Tony Baddingham and Declan O'Hara locked in a battle for the Cotswolds crown. Meanwhile, Rupert Campbell-Black (played by Alex Hassell) faces his personal demons, and Taggie O'Hara (Bella Maclean) must find the courage to follow her heart in the midst of the chaos. First-look images suggest a possible reconciliation between Freddie and Lizzie, who had previously decided to end their relationship to avoid complications. The series, based on the late Dame Jilly Cooper’s novel, has been well-received by both critics and fans, leading to its renewal for a third season. Dame Jilly Cooper played a significant role in the production, serving as an executive producer and visiting the cast during filming of Season 2 just before her death in October 2026. She had reviewed the scripts for the new season and provided notes on each episode, ensuring her vision remained central to the storytelling. The upcoming episodes will also feature guest stars Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett as Helen Gordon and Malise Gordon, adding further depth to the complex narrative.
