Samsung's Galaxy A37 is currently being sold in a special bundle with the JBL Grip speaker at the French electronics retailer Boulanger. The package is priced at 399 euros, which represents a 27% discount compared to the original combined cost of 547.92 euros. This offer positions the Galaxy A37 as a mid-range smartphone in Samsung's 2026 lineup, placed below the Galaxy A57 in terms of features and price. The Galaxy A37 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen that has a 120 Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animations smoother. It also has IP68 certification, which means it is dustproof and waterproof under certain conditions, and a 5000 mAh battery for extended use. The phone is powered by the Exynos 1480 chip, the same processor used in the Galaxy A55, and runs One UI 8.5, Samsung's user interface based on Android 16. This software includes AI features and promises seven years of updates. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main lens with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens for close-up photography. The Galaxy A37 shares design elements with the flagship Galaxy S series, including a plastic body that mimics a premium look and flat edges. Its screen has visible borders but offers accurate color reproduction and high brightness. However, in gaming scenarios, the Exynos 1480 chip struggles to maintain a consistent 60 frames per second on more demanding titles, often dropping to around 30 fps. The phone also includes a 45 W fast charger for quicker battery replenishment. The JBL Grip speaker is larger than the JBL Clip but smaller than the JBL Flip, with a built-in light band that changes color and pulses to the rhythm of music. It offers 14 hours of playback in Playtime Boost mode and is waterproof, with the ability to survive a drop from one meter. The speaker is IP68 certified and can be connected to other compatible JBL speakers via Auracast for stereo sound. However, to achieve stereo sound, a second Grip speaker is needed.
