Road closure in Ris-Orangis

A section of Grigny Road in Ris-Orangis, Essonne, will be partially closed until February 27, 2027, as part of a "requalification of public spaces (road, sidewalks, and parking)" project managed by Grand Paris Sud. The affected area is between Fontaine Street and Pierre-Brossolette Street, with a ban on traffic implemented day and night throughout the duration of the construction.

Access restrictions for residents

The local authority stated that access for motorized residents may be restricted or temporarily prohibited depending on the progress of the works to ensure the safety of users and personnel involved. These measures aim to manage traffic flow and prevent accidents during the ongoing construction.

Short-term construction on Clos-Langlet path

Another construction project is set to take place in Ris-Orangis from October 27 to 30 on the Clos-Langlet path, between Copernic Street and Galileo Avenue. This three-day project will involve weeding sidewalks and marking parking spaces on the ground.

Parking restrictions during the project

Motorists will be prohibited from parking in the affected area on the path between 8 am and 5 pm during the construction period. These temporary restrictions are intended to facilitate the work and ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians.

Other communes involved in redevelopment

In total, eight other communes are involved in similar redevelopment projects in the southern area of Grand Paris: Évry-Courcouronnes, Cesson, Grigny, Lisses, Moissy-Cramayel, Saint-Pierre-du-Perray, Soisy-sur-Seine, and Villabé. These projects are part of a broader initiative to modernize and improve public spaces across the region.
