The **Photo & Video Fair** will take place from October 8 to 11, 2026, at the Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris. The event will explore the evolution of photography and video as creative and technological mediums over the past two centuries. This year marks a name change from the Photo Fair to the **Photo & Video Fair**, reflecting the increasing importance of video as a form of artistic expression. Attendees will have the chance to explore the work of 114 exhibitors and 180 brands, with special emphasis on video-related exhibitions. The fair will also feature meetings with directors, videographers, and content creators, who will share insights into their creative processes. Additional activities will include workshops, portfolio reviews, and conferences throughout the four-day event. A highlight of the fair will be the **Grand Exhibition**, titled "Two centuries of photographic cameras (1826-2026)", organized in partnership with the Nicéphore Niépce Museum. This exhibition will trace the development of photography from its earliest days to the present, featuring a unique collection of historical cameras and prints. It will also showcase various early photographic techniques, such as heliography, daguerreotype, and calotype. The exhibition has been recognized by the French Ministry of Culture and aims to educate the public about the technological and artistic evolution of the medium. Sandisk™ and Fisheye are collaborating once again for a series of visual walks, described as collective creation workshops, which will take place at the heart of La Villette during the fair. There will be four sessions, each welcoming five to six participants. These will occur on October 10 and 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The Saturday sessions will focus on video and will be led by Lucas Troadec, a photographer and videographer who explores how environments influence identity. The Sunday sessions will focus on photography and will be led by Diane Moyssan, a photographer specializing in luxury, fashion, and lifestyle. All sessions will be centered around the theme of movement. Each workshop will last 1 hour and 30 minutes. Participants will meet their facilitator, who will help them set up their camera and offer artistic guidance on approaching the theme. They will then explore the La Villette park using advanced camera modes, such as high-speed burst in RAW and high-frame-rate slow motion in 4K. These techniques require high-performance equipment and reliable memory cards, which will be provided by Sandisk™ for the event. At the end of the session, participants will gather to capture a common area from different angles. The images will be compiled and projected at the Fisheye stand, inspired by the work of photographer Barbara Probst. Participants can share their co-creations online. Registration is available through specific links for Saturday and Sunday, and participants will receive a promo code for 20% off Sandisk™ memory cards, up to a maximum of 500 euros.
