Ambre Kahan, making her opera debut, is envisioning a unique setting for the puppet character of Pinocchio, placing the story in a fairground theatre filled with masks and puppets. This approach aims to give the production a distinctive visual and thematic identity.Cast and roles
Anaïs Merlin will take on the role of Pinocchio, with Jean-Luc Ballestra as his father and Vibe Rouvet as the fairy. These performances will be part of a collaborative effort by the ensemble Miroirs Étendus, known for its innovative stage productions.Musical direction and style

Fiona Monbet will alternate with him in the directorial role, adding variety and depth to the production’s artistic direction.Performance dates and locations
The first performances of the new Pinocchio production will be held on November 5 and 6, 2026, at the Théâtre impérial de Compiègne.
