GTA VI, the latest installment in the popular Grand Theft Auto series by Rockstar Games, is highly anticipated as a must-play title for the end of 2026. Although it does not currently have a set release date for PC, it is expected to eventually be available on personal computers. As gamers prepare for the release, hardware manufacturers are also updating their offerings to meet the demands of high-end gaming. Boulanger, a major European electronics retailer, has recently reduced the price of the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI gaming laptop by 200 euros, bringing its cost down to 2,099.99 euros from the original 2,299.99 euros. This laptop is designed for high-performance gaming and includes a powerful Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics card and an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor. It features a 16-inch OLED display with a high 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 TB of solid-state storage, and 16 GB of RAM, making it well-suited for running the latest AAA games. The laptop also includes advanced AI features that help optimize rendering speed, generate images and videos from text prompts, and support complex software like Blender for 3D modeling or Adobe After Effects for video editing. However, the machine has some limitations. It tends to overheat when used at maximum performance and has a limited battery life—lasting up to six hours during typical office tasks but only two to three hours during gaming. The laptop comes with a charger and offers a WQXGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, covering 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, though its screen brightness is limited to 400 nits, which may not be ideal for use outdoors. Connectivity options on the laptop include three USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, a combo audio jack, and an HDMI port. Despite its powerful specs, the laptop is relatively heavy, weighing over two kilograms, which may limit its portability. While it is a strong contender for gamers and content creators, users should be aware of its thermal and battery limitations when considering its purchase.
