Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility (CAPFM) has announced the promotion of three individuals to key positions within its automotive division, aiming to reinforce its leadership in the sector. Alexandre Gau has been named director of remarketing and asset management. In this role, he will focus on expanding the company’s automotive asset management capabilities and organizing the value chain for used vehicles across Europe. Gau joined CAPFM in January 2024 after working as director of remarketing for used vehicles at Ayvens and as director of sales for Renault Véhicules d'Occasion in France. He now reports to Emmanuel Dussussois, deputy director of the Automobile, Mobility & Services Group. Aliette de Varenne has been promoted to director of automotive procurement for CAPFM. Previously, she served as deputy general manager and a member of the executive committee at Agilauto. In her new role, she will manage relationships with car manufacturers and service partners across CAPFM’s automotive operations in Europe. She also reports to Dussussois. Before joining CAPFM, de Varenne worked as deputy director of procurement at Arval France, focusing on manufacturer and distributor partnerships, and as director of performance and fleet procurement at the Transdev group. José Carreira has been appointed deputy director of automotive procurement to support Aliette de Varenne in carrying out the group’s procurement strategy. Carreira brings extensive experience in the automotive sector, having worked in various leadership roles. Following CAPFM’s acquisition of FCA, he was appointed director of sales and marketing for Spain and Morocco at CA Auto Bank in 2020. He later became Country Manager for France at Drivalia and was promoted to Group Head of Fleet Procurement & Supply Chain in January 2024. His background in fleet management and procurement is expected to strengthen CAPFM’s operations across Europe. These promotions reflect CAPFM’s ongoing efforts to enhance its position in the automotive and mobility sector, as it continues to adapt to evolving market demands and industry trends.
