The version for the new console will be called The Ascent Ultimate Edition and will include the base game as well as additional downloadable content (DLC), such as Cyber Heist, CyberSec Pack, and Cyber Warrior Pack. This edition will be available exclusively as a digital release on December 3. Preorders are currently available through the Nintendo eShop. During the preorder period, players can take advantage of a 10 percent discount, bringing the price down to 26.99€ from the standard 29.99€. This special offer remains valid until the game’s release date. Alongside the preorder announcement, Neon Giant released a new trailer for The Ascent on Nintendo Switch 2. The trailer showcases the neon-lit streets and industrial settings of the fictional city of Veles, while introducing the weapons, gear, and cybernetic enhancements players can use to battle enemies. The trailer also highlights both solo and cooperative gameplay, giving a glimpse of the fast-paced action players can enjoy alone or with friends. Before the Nintendo Switch 2 version launches, Neon Giant will release a Legacy Patch for existing versions of the game on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation on November 18. This update will enhance localization, add support for high dynamic range (HDR) visuals, and address major issues in cooperative play, including teleportation, encounter systems, and save and progression systems. These improvements will also be included in the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Set in the cyberpunk world of Veles, where large corporations control much of society, The Ascent is an action role-playing and shooting game that supports both solo and cooperative play with up to four players. Players can choose from a wide array of weapons and cybernetic implants to customize their combat style. Since its initial release in 2021, more than 12 million players have joined the world of The Ascent.
