Gran Turismo 7, the popular racing video game, is set to receive a major free update called SPEC IV, which will be released in two parts. The first part of the update will arrive on October 15 through the 1.72 update. This update will add the new Sportsland SUGO circuit, a Japanese track known for its technical nature and elevation changes. Located in Murata, Japan, the circuit is 3.7 km long. Along with the circuit, six new vehicles will be added, including the Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston '86, Ferrari F355 Berlinetta '94, Honda Civic Si Group A '87, Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line '23, Mazda RX-VISION GT3 EVO '26, and Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo. The update will also introduce a new service called "Car Concierge," which will allow users to order used and legendary vehicles. Additionally, a "Vintage" section will be added for models that are no longer sold new, and an "Experience" mode will offer driving challenges specific to manufacturers. The Car Viewer will allow users to better appreciate the vehicles in their garage, and the maximum collector level will be increased. A new introductory cinematic will accompany the SPEC IV update. The second part of the SPEC IV update is expected to be released in December. It will include the return of Autumn Ring, six additional cars, the Family Mode, Shuffle Races, and Online Drift Trials. The release date for the second part of the update has not been specified, but it is expected to arrive in December 2026. Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS4 and PlayStation 5 and is fully compatible with the PSVR2.
