The POCO F9 Pro, officially released on September 1, 2026, is now available on Amazon with an Early Bird discount that brings the price of the 12+512 GB model down from 999.90 to 799.90 euros. This limited-time offer, set to expire on September 21, provides a 20 percent discount on a smartphone designed for both gaming and photography. The POCO F9 Pro is aimed at users who want high performance in a single device, combining advanced hardware with features tailored for multimedia and gaming experiences. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which uses a 3 nm manufacturing process — a significant advancement in efficiency and performance. It also includes a dedicated graphics chipset called VisionBoost D8, which supports gaming at up to 185 frames per second (FPS). The device features an 185 Hz AMOLED screen, a 6.59-inch display that offers smooth visuals for both gaming and video. It also includes a large 6330 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities — 100 W wired and 50 W wireless — and is certified for water and dust resistance with IP68/IP69 ratings. In terms of photography, the POCO F9 Pro comes with a 200 MP main camera sensor that includes optical image stabilization, ensuring clearer photos in low light. It also has a 50 MP floating telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom for detailed shots from a distance. The phone includes 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, offering fast performance and ample space for apps, media, and files. However, it does not support microSD cards for additional storage. While the POCO F9 Pro is positioned as a high-performance alternative to more expensive flagship smartphones priced above 1400 euros, it lacks the same long-term software updates and ecosystem support found in some competing brands. The HyperOS 3 interface may not appeal to all users, and the phone is relatively large and heavy at 218 grams. The Early Bird offer is available until September 21, giving buyers a chance to purchase the device at a reduced price before the discount expires.
