Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion introduces new environments, previously unseen dungeons, and adversaries that pose significant challenges to players. The expansion is available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Among the new features, the "Forgotten Trials" dungeons include surprises such as creatures whose characteristics can make battles particularly difficult. The "Forgotten Trials" dungeons are accessible at the beginning of the expansion and offer varying levels of difficulty. Some can be traversed with relative ease, while others test players' equipment and team composition. New slimes identifiable by their dark blue color with almost cosmic reflections are found behind doors or near chests, often setting traps for players. These blue slimes are particularly resistant to physical attacks and magical spells, making battles against them potentially endless if players use their usual weapons or skills. They can gradually deplete players' health while slowing them down. However, the weakness of these blue slimes is poison. Players should use poison vials, poisoned arrows, or even throw poisoned enemies or pawns at them. Once poisoned, the slimes will start to boil and gradually lose health points. Players should avoid unnecessary exposure to their attacks while the poison takes effect.
