Mammotion, a company known for its robotic lawn mowers, is celebrating its 10th anniversary by showcasing two new products at the IFA 2026 trade show in Berlin. The first, the LUBA 4 AWD, is designed for homeowners, while the second, the Maston series, marks the company’s entry into the professional market. These new devices reflect Mammotion’s efforts to improve both consumer and commercial robotic lawn care.
The LUBA 4 AWD features an advanced navigation system called Tri-Fusion, which combines three types of sensors to ensure precise positioning even in challenging environments. The Surround Quad-Vision system uses four wide-angle cameras to provide 360° visibility, helping the robot detect obstacles. A LiDAR dome, which uses laser technology to measure distances and map the surroundings, works effectively even in low light. Additionally, the robot uses NetRTK positioning, which connects to a 4G network to improve GPS accuracy. This combination of technologies ensures the robot can navigate complex terrains and dense vegetation with minimal error.
Mammotion has also refined the LUBA 4 AWD’s mowing capabilities to reduce lawn damage. Unlike older models that had to make sharp turns at the end of each strip, the new robot can move in both forward and reverse directions, allowing it to shift rows smoothly without turning. This feature helps prevent wheel marks and damage to the grass. The robot can handle steep slopes of up to 80%, and its cutting system includes floating plates and multiple pivoting blades to adapt to uneven ground. An optional edge-cutting module allows the robot to trim grass close to walls and flower beds, improving the overall appearance of the lawn.
The LUBA 4 AWD is available in three models to suit different garden sizes, with battery-powered operation and fast charging capabilities. Meanwhile, the Maston series targets professionals, such as landscapers and sports field managers, offering high-performance robotic mowers. The Maston Rotary model can handle large areas with a cutting width of 62 cm, while the Maston Flail model is designed for precise cutting on high-maintenance lawns and fields. Both models are supported by a cloud-based management platform that allows users to monitor and control multiple robots from a single dashboard. These professional models are now available for pre-order in Europe through authorized distributors.
