The Logitech K400 Plus keyboard is currently available for 30.99 euros at major retailers such as Amazon, Boulanger.com, and Rakuten. In a recent test of 70 different keyboard models, the K400 Plus was named the best affordable option. Logitech recently updated its wireless multimedia keyboard lineup with the K400 Plus, an improved version of the original K400. The new model features a more compact and lightweight design, enhanced durability, a variety of multimedia keys, customizable settings, an effective touchpad, 18 months of battery life, a 10-meter wireless range, and quiet operation. Among its strengths, the K400 Plus stands out for its portability and versatility, making it ideal for use as a secondary or travel keyboard. It includes a range of multimedia keys for quick access to functions like play, pause, volume control, and more. The keyboard also offers customizable features, allowing users to adjust settings to suit their preferences. Additionally, the touchpad is responsive and functional, and the 10-meter wireless range ensures reliable connectivity from a distance. However, the K400 Plus has a few notable drawbacks. The plastic used in its construction is of medium quality, which may feel less premium compared to higher-end models. It also lacks backlighting, which can be a disadvantage for users who work in low-light environments. There is no visual indicator for pairing or for the caps lock function, which could make certain tasks slightly more difficult. Additionally, some users have reported discomfort during extended typing sessions, suggesting that it may not be the best choice for heavy, long-term use. Positioned between the original K400 and the more advanced K800, the K400 Plus offers a mid-range option that balances affordability with functionality. While the K800 is often preferred for its backlighting, which is still absent in the K400 series, the K400 Plus compensates with its lower price and versatility. For users looking for a reliable, budget-friendly multimedia keyboard that works well for casual or secondary use, the K400 Plus is a satisfactory choice.
