At the ZEvent 2026, a charitable marathon held on Twitch from September 3 to 7, popular streamers organized a series of unusual challenges to raise funds for 22 different charities. The event, organized by streamers ZeratoR and Dach, collected nearly 33 million euros from viewers who donated to support various causes. The challenges ranged from physical feats to creative and personal endeavors, showcasing the unique ways in which online communities can come together for good. One of the most talked-about challenges was Sylvain's "train challenge," where he promised to travel by train for 50,000 euros. The goal was reached quickly, and Sylvain arrived at the event venue aboard a mini TGV (a type of high-speed train) traveling at 80 to 100 kilometers per hour. Another highlight was Anyme's commitment to stream in space for 200,000 euros. He not only reached the target but raised over 634,000 euros, which allowed him to give a house to one of his subscribers. Sports-related challenges also played a big role. Streamers Nico and Ilhan planned to walk from Dakar, Senegal, to Paris in 30 days for 227,000 euros. Meanwhile, Domingo collected over 4.6 million euros, which enabled him to take part in the Diagonale des fous, a challenging mountain race in La Réunion. Another unique challenge was Mastu's attempt to contact his father for 1 million euros, which he surpassed with 5.3 million euros in donations. Amixem, unable to attend in person, used a telepresence robot to participate remotely and raised 500,000 euros. Not all challenges reached their goals. Samuel Etienne's "mankini tour," which aimed for 500,000 euros, fell short of its target. Other memorable moments included Ponce's invitation to André Manoukian to recreate the concept of the popular French talent show Nouvelle Star with streamers. A night of spicy pepper tasting also became a memorable event, where streamers ate increasingly hot peppers before going to sleep, adding a humorous and challenging twist to the marathon.
