Corsica's architecture event highlights heritage

In Corsica, the National Days of Architecture will provide an opportunity to examine the island's built heritage and landscapes. The Council of Architecture, Urbanism and the Environment (CAUE) of Corsica is organizing two free events on Saturday, October 17, in the form of walking tours. These tours aim to highlight places, buildings, and architectural approaches that reflect the territory's history.

CAUE's role and mission

The CAUE of Corsica was created in December 2020 at the initiative of the Corsican Collectivity, within the framework of the 1977 architecture law. It is an independent association tasked with promoting the quality of architecture, urban planning, and the environment. Its missions revolve around advising, informing, raising awareness, and training.
