Black Friday and 11.11 promotions coincide

This month of November will be marked by Black Friday, as well as the 11.11 of AliExpress. Although the name changes, the concept remains the same with good promotions on many products.

Nintendo Switch OLED gets price cut

AliExpress is getting ahead of its 11.11 event, and the Nintendo Switch OLED benefits from this promotion. By entering a promo code, users can obtain the console with a reduction of 120 euros.

Features of the Nintendo Switch OLED

The Nintendo Switch OLED features a larger screen with thinner borders to enhance immersion, an Ethernet port to facilitate downloads, and was launched at a price of 349 euros. It is currently available for 229 euros on AliExpress thanks to the code FRD1140, and it is even possible to pay less by choosing PayPal as the payment method.

Design improvements and technical details

The Nintendo Switch OLED has a revised design compared to its predecessor, with thinner borders that allow for a larger screen without changing the console's size. However, the display remains at 720p resolution. The console also includes a larger crutch that supports the device, replacing the previous design that did not inspire confidence. The addition of an Ethernet port allows for faster game downloads, and the battery life has been increased to five hours, compared to three hours for the standard Switch.

OLED screen advantages and future models

The Nintendo Switch OLED is no longer the latest offering from Nintendo, which has since launched its Nintendo Switch 2. This new console is backward compatible, allowing users to play titles from the classic Switch on the Switch 2. However, the Nintendo Switch OLED is not yet obsolete, as it features an OLED screen, which is not present in the Switch 2. The 7-inch OLED screen turns off pixels when displaying black, providing vivid colors and deeper blacks. This feature enhances the visual experience in games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild, where landscapes are more pleasant to look at, and the larger screen enhances immersion.

Future of the Nintendo Switch OLED

Nintendo is reportedly working on a Nintendo Switch 2 OLED, which could signal the end of the Switch OLED's market presence. At the time of its launch, the Nintendo Switch OLED received a score of 8/10.
