Taylor Sheridan, the creator of the popular series Yellowstone, has built a television empire that includes a dozen successful projects. His collaborations often involve high-profile actors such as Sylvester Stallone, Billy Bob Thornton, and Michelle Pfeiffer. One of his recent series, Operation: Lioness, features three Oscar-nominated actors: Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman in supporting roles, and Zoe Saldaña as the lead. In the series, Saldaña plays Joe McNamara, the leader of an elite CIA unit. Zoe Saldaña has said she is open to returning for new seasons of Lioness, but she has made it clear that she does not plan to dedicate her entire career to Taylor Sheridan's projects. In an interview with People, she explained that the intense filming schedule leaves her with little time or energy to commit to Sheridan's other ventures. She mentioned that she is typically the first to arrive on set and the last to leave, and that the months of training before the rest of the cast arrive is already a heavy workload for her. Saldaña did not rule out the possibility of a fourth season of Lioness, although it has not yet been officially announced. She also noted that it would be unlikely for her character to cross paths with characters from other Sheridan series, such as the Dutton family from Yellowstone. Additionally, she said it remains to be seen whether she will continue working with Sheridan after his new roles at Universal, once her contract with Paramount expires in 2028. The three seasons of Lioness are currently available exclusively on Paramount+.
