Anker Innovations, a consumer electronics company founded in 2011 by Steven Yang, a former Google engineer, has recently rebranded its product lines under a unified identity. Previously, products like the MagGo battery, the AeroClip 2 earbuds, and the Omni E35 robot were sold under separate sub-brands such as soundcore and eufy. Now, all are labeled with "Anker" as a prefix. This includes the AeroClip 2 now called "Anker soundcore" and the Omni E35 now branded as "Anker eufy." These products all share a common home AI chip called Thus, which helps with features like voice control and smart home integration.
In 2025, Anker reported revenue of 30.5 billion yuan, or about 3.7 billion euros, marking a 23.5 percent increase. This places it in the same revenue range as Logitech, a major competitor in the consumer electronics space. Previously, Anker operated under several different brand names, including Anker Solix for home batteries, AnkerWork for webcams, and eufy for home products. This led to seven separate brand names, multiple logos, and three separate apps that did not integrate with each other, complicating the user experience.
The rebranding began last year with the merger of the Nebula brand into soundcore and the discontinuation of AnkerMake in favor of eufyMake for UV printing. At IFA, a major electronics trade show, Anker announced that all products would now bear the Anker prefix. This move aims to create a more recognizable brand identity and reduce reliance on Amazon, where the company derived 52.3 percent of its sales in 2025, down from 57.1 percent two years earlier.
Looking ahead, Anker plans to expand its physical store presence and increase its European market share by 43 percent in one year. A Hong Kong stock market listing finalized in July 2026 supports this strategy, as investors often prefer companies with a unified brand image. New products with the Anker prefix are launching between September 17 and October, with prices valid until October 11. These include a range of products such as the MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro and the eufyMake Fabric Printer, which prints directly on textiles. For 2027, Anker plans to launch the Sleep X10 Pro, a sleep analysis device, and the RIC Hearing Aids, which may be adjusted remotely through an app.
Anker's strategy of unifying its brands contrasts with Xiaomi's approach of using multiple brands to cover different price ranges. Instead, Anker is consolidating its identity, similar to Oppo’s strategy with OnePlus or Google with Nest. However, this rebranding may also bring the risks associated with its sub-brands, such as product recalls or privacy concerns.
