Relais Desserts, an international organization dedicated to showcasing outstanding pastry craftsmanship, has welcomed six new members to its ranks. The association, led by Vincent Guerlais, now includes pastry artists from across the globe, each bringing unique skills and perspectives to the world of high-end confectionery. These new members represent a mix of innovation, tradition, and dedication to the art of pastry-making. Xavier Brignon, based in Besançon, France, is known for his contemporary and imaginative approach to artisanal pastries. Diego Lozano from São Paulo, Brazil, has earned recognition as a double winner in the Brazilian selection for the World Chocolate Masters competition. In addition to his baking skills, Lozano is also a chef, entrepreneur, and trainer, contributing to the growth of the pastry industry in his region. Lluc Crusellas Capdevila, near Barcelona, Spain, is a 2022 winner of the World Chocolate Masters Best Chocolate Maker title. His work focuses on creating pastries that evoke emotion and inspire innovation. Enzo Roussel from La Baule collaborates with his father, Christophe, to craft pastries that are both surprising and delicious, blending tradition with contemporary flair. Louis Agnellet from Annecy continues the family legacy with his father Patrick, producing pastries that are elegant, refined, and balanced in flavor and presentation. From the Netherlands, Niels De Rouw represents the third generation of the De Rouw Pastry family, alongside his sister Lisa. The De Rouw Pastry business was founded in 1962 by their parents, Arthur and Doris. The siblings now lead the company, honoring their family’s heritage while introducing new ideas that look toward the future of pastry-making. These new members highlight the core values of Relais Desserts: passion, excellence, technical skill, and expertise. As the association prepares for its 2026 showcase, it will continue to demonstrate the diversity and evolving nature of high pastry around the world.
