The Audio Pro C5 MkII, a connected speaker available at Joybuy for 149.00 euros, is currently on sale at a discount of about 29% compared to its usual price. This reduction is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices offered by all merchants for the product in the past month. Special care has been taken to exclude prices from stores with unclear VAT policies, often referred to as "gray" stores, particularly those offering imports from China. The Audio Pro C5 MkII may look rugged, but it is a stationary speaker designed for high-quality audio playback. It supports lossless audio streaming via Wi-Fi and delivers a well-balanced sound, with clear and defined midrange frequencies and a spacious soundstage. The speaker is also praised for its excellent build quality, finish, and ease of use. However, it has some drawbacks, including poorly controlled deep bass and a lack of detail in some audio passages. Despite these issues, the Audio Pro C5 MkII stands out for its sound balance and overall performance, surpassing many competitors in its size category. It is not the most transparent speaker in terms of audio accuracy, but it offers a satisfying listening experience. Connectivity options are somewhat limited, and the speaker lacks an acoustic grille, which is common in many other models. Additionally, its accompanying app, Audio Pro Control, has had some inconsistencies over the years, which can affect user experience. While the speaker has its limitations, its Wi-Fi-based audio distribution capabilities contribute to an enjoyable listening experience. The price drop makes it an attractive option for those looking for a high-performance speaker with good sound quality at a more affordable price. However, potential buyers should be aware of the speaker's weaknesses, especially if they prioritize deep bass or detailed audio reproduction.
