Model 3 receives new features

Tesla has introduced updates to its Model 3 electric sedan, including a larger 16-inch infotainment screen, a black roof across the entire range, and increased range on the Performance version. These updates are part of a broader effort to enhance the car's appeal and competitiveness in the market.

Performance improvements highlighted

The Model 3's All-Wheel Drive Long Range version can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds, a gain of four tenths. This improvement, along with the increased range on the Performance version, highlights Tesla’s focus on performance and efficiency.

New energy-sharing capability

The vehicle is also equipped with Powershare V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) technology, previously reserved for the Cybertruck, allowing the car to supply energy to a single-family home for two days during a power outage. This feature is available in the United States through compatible charging stations and a Powerwall battery but awaits European approval.

Pricing and market position

The Model 3 is priced below 37,000 euros in France, while the Model Y continues to dominate sales in the country due to its family-friendly design. This indicates that while the Model 3 has seen improvements, the Model Y remains a stronger seller in the French market.
