Tesla continues to enhance its Model 3 electric sedan with new features and performance upgrades. The latest update includes a larger 16-inch touchscreen, replacing the previous 15.4-inch screen. Tesla claims the new screen provides a "smoother" interface and "improved visual experience." The interior now offers a black roof option, moving away from the previously popular light trim. Additionally, the Premium and Performance versions of the Model 3 can now be equipped with a Zen Gray interior. The Model 3 Premium also features a new 19-inch Nova wheel option. Performance improvements are notable, especially for the Model 3 Premium Long Range with all-wheel drive. It now accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds, up from 4.4 seconds previously. The Model 3 Performance version also boasts a claimed 600 km of autonomy based on the WLTP (World Light-duty Vehicles Test Procedure) cycle, a standard used to measure fuel economy and emissions. Tesla has expanded its Powershare technology, known as "V2H" (Vehicle-to-Home), to the Model 3 and Model Y. This feature allows the vehicle's battery to power a home during a power outage, but only if the vehicle is equipped with a stationary Powerwall battery and a compatible Tesla charging station. The feature is available for Model 3 vehicles ordered in the United States and Puerto Rico since October 1, 2026, and some previously produced cars may also be compatible. However, no availability in France has been confirmed. The updates reflect Tesla's ongoing efforts to improve both the functionality and appeal of its vehicles. These enhancements are part of Tesla's strategy to keep its electric cars competitive in a rapidly evolving market. While some features are currently limited to specific regions, Tesla may expand them in the future as the technology advances and demand grows.
