The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine is a new upgrade to the already popular Dyson V16 Piston Animal vacuum cleaner. This model includes a system that compacts and detangles long hair, making it easier to clean pets' fur and long human hair. It also features ergonomic design for user comfort. The new Submarine version adds a wet cleaning function, allowing it to clean floors with water, leaving them visibly cleaner after its pass. The vacuum is currently listed at 999 euros on Dyson's website, but it's on sale for 799 euros. Using the code DYSONDEAL, the price can be further reduced to 719 euros. The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine is equipped with a Submarine 2.0 brush designed for washing floors and a powerful Hyperdymium motor that delivers 900 watts of power. In Boost mode, it claims to offer a suction power of 315 AW, which is strong but drains the battery quickly. For longer use, classic modes allow up to 70 minutes of operation. The vacuum includes a 1.35-liter Clean Compaktor collector with a built-in compactor that helps reduce the need for frequent emptying. It also features a 5-stage HEPA filtration system that captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1 microns, which is especially helpful for people with allergies. The vacuum includes an All Floor Cones Sense brush that easily handles hair and fur without getting tangled. It also has an Auto mode that automatically adjusts power and speed based on the floor type, a laser that highlights dust on the floor, and a system that allows users to switch accessories without bending down. Despite these features, the device is heavier and longer than some of Dyson's other models, weighing 3.4 kg and measuring 129.8 cm in length, making it more tiring to handle compared to the Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine. The Submarine 2.0 brush adds versatility, but it doesn't replace the need for a traditional mop. The new accessory attachment system is convenient but not compatible with older Dyson accessories. The device can clean both dry and wet floors and can be converted into a handheld vacuum for cleaning in tight spaces. While it offers a range of functions, users should consider its weight and size when deciding if it's the right choice for their home.
