A new café named A Corner Café has opened near the L’ Oasis restaurant at Trou aux Biches Beachcomber. The café is positioned to provide visitors with a casual dining option and a place to relax before or after meals.Coastal protection project
To combat coastal erosion, Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels partnered with the French company Espace Pur to install six submerged "T"-shaped structures using the STABIPLAGE® technology. This technology helps stabilize the shoreline by reducing wave energy and promoting sediment deposition.Beach restoration efforts
As part of the coastal protection project, 13,500 cubic meters of sand were added to the beach in front of the hotel. This effort aims to restore the shoreline, which had receded by 40 meters between 1967 and 2012, according to a press release from the hotel.
