Children's play explores family traits

Ma fossette is a children's theater production directed by Thomas Quillardet, based on his illustrated book Enquête fossette. It will debut in Paris in January 2027 and explores how physical and emotional traits are passed down through generations.

Story centers on a child's curiosity

The play follows Amina, who notices that one of her fathers has a dimple while the other does not. This observation leads her to investigate the origin of her own dimple, interviewing family members to learn about inherited characteristics and emotional connections.

Production team includes multiple collaborators

The production features Noémie Martin as the actress, with contributions from Maya Lopez, Lisa Navarro, Benjamin Moreau, and others in various creative and administrative roles, ensuring a well-rounded theatrical experience.

Two versions of the show are planned

Ma fossette exists in both a touring version and a stage version. It will premiere at the Theater of the City – Sarah Bernhardt in Paris from January 22 to 31, 2027, and later be performed at the Festival Petits et Grands – Nantes in April 2027.

Collaborations and future plans

The production is being developed in collaboration with Les Tréteaux de France and the national drama center. Additional coproductions are in progress, indicating the show’s potential for wider reach and continued development.
