Heidi Klum's Halloween costume choice

Heidi Klum, a German-American model and television host, attended the 25th edition of her annual Halloween event, "Heidiween," in New York on Saturday. She wore a large, severed, and bloodstained hand costume that was nearly 2.5 meters tall.

Design and collaboration

The costume was created by Klum in partnership with make-up artist and stylist Mike Marino. It featured rings and polished nails, drawing inspiration from the film The Substance rather than traditional horror themes.

Klum's explanation

Klum explained her choice to the New York Times, saying the idea came to her a year ago while preparing for her Halloween evening. She noted that everyday things can become interesting if viewed from a different perspective.

Public documentation

Klum's costume design was widely shared on her Instagram account, giving followers a detailed look at the creation process and final appearance.
