Exhibition highlights Louise Bourgeois's drawings
A new exhibition titled Extreme Tension showcases the drawings of Louise Bourgeois, who described them as "feather thoughts, ideas I catch on the fly and put on paper." The exhibition includes a wide range of her work, from a small self-portrait on squared paper from 1942 to her red gouaches from Family (2007).
Exhibition spans multiple locations
The exhibition is part of a collaboration between the Bibliothèque nationale de France and the graphic collections of the Centre Pompidou. Other exhibitions currently featured include works by painter Georges Kars at the Mahj and a dive into "Planète Océan" at the Atelier des Lumières.
