Collaborative dance project launched

A new collaborative dance project titled Crossover has been conceived by the French collective (LA)HORDE. It brings together three pairs of choreographers to interweave their works and reimagine the stage as a space for dialogue and shared performance.

Dancers from Marseille participate

The production features eight dancers from the Ballet national de Marseille. These performers take existing choreographic works and reinterpret them in a collaborative effort, highlighting the tensions and resonances that arise from the interweaving of different artistic styles.

Choreographers and their pairings

The choreographers involved in the project include Rafaela Sahyoun, Fran Diaz, Cécilia Bengolea, Armin Hokmi, and Angelin Preljocaj. Each pair collaborates on a crossover piece, using the other’s repertoire as a basis for reinterpretation through their own artistic perspectives.

Creative team and production details

The project is concepted and staged by (LA)HORDE, with Marine Brutti, Jonathan Debrouwer, and Arthur Harel as the creators. Nadia El Hakim serves as the artistic assistant, and the production includes contributions from rehearsal masters, sound designers, and intimacy coordinators.
