Performance explores light and time
LIGHT CRUSH is a performance piece created by choreographers Zoé Lakhnati and Philomène Jander, focusing on how light interacts with a specific physical space. The performance lasts one hour and uses a light score that repeats three times, each time altering the audience's perception of time and space.Light as a dynamic element
The light in LIGHT CRUSH is described as an active, living force that transforms the environment. It changes the architecture of the space, interacts with the performers, and creates a sense of movement and emotion, sometimes appearing chaotic, other times precise or serene.Choreographers reinterpret the light
Each choreographer takes turns reinterpreting the light sequence, reshaping the relationship between time, framing, and the image. The repeated loops build on each other through projection and memory, creating a layered experience for the audience without leaving any physical traces.Alice Panziera's role in the project
Alice Panziera is a visual artist who works with light and drawing to explore how environments can be transformed. She creates light devices that allow the body and space to interact, merge, or disappear. Her work has been featured in several choreographic projects since 2018.Collaborators and technical team
The performance includes contributions from various artists and technicians. Alice Panziera designed the visual elements, while François Boulet handled the technical setup. Paul JF Fleury composed the sound and music, and Makoto C. Friedmann provided dramaturgy consultation. The glass piece was created by Ziggy Melvis.Production and venue details
